What happens if my sponsor is removed from the register?

If your sponsor's licence is revoked while you hold a Skilled Worker visa, the Home Office typically curtails your visa and gives you 60 days to find a new licensed sponsor, switch route, or leave the UK. Check the register immediately and read our guide on what to do.

Why do organisations disappear from the sponsor register?

A removal is not always a revocation: licences also lapse when companies close, merge, rename, choose not to renew, or surrender the licence voluntarily. A removal on this tracker means the organisation no longer appears on the published register under that name and town.
